Terms of Use

1. You must be 13 or older

SpriteGrove is for players aged 13 and up. The tracker itself asks you nothing; we ask for your birth year the first time you use trading, matches, or set a contact handle. Answering with a year that makes you younger than 13 stops you there, and nothing you typed is stored. If you are between 13 and 17, use SpriteGrove with your parent or guardian’s knowledge, and never share personal details with a trading partner.

2. Trading is barter only

You may offer your sprites in exchange for other sprites. That is the only kind of trade allowed here.

You may not buy, sell, rent, auction, or advertise sprites for money or for anything else with real-world value. That includes cash, bank or app transfers, gift cards, V-Bucks and other in-game currency, game keys, accounts, subscriptions, cryptocurrency, and promises of payment later. It also includes asking for a “tip” or a “donation” in return for a sprite.

Listings that break this rule are deleted, and the accounts that post them are removed from SpriteGrove. We do not issue warnings for selling.

3. We are a bulletin board, not a broker

SpriteGrove lets you say what you have and what you want, and helps you find someone with the mirror image. That is all it does. We do not hold, escrow, transfer, verify, or guarantee any sprite, and we take no part in your trade beyond introducing the two of you.

The trade itself happens in game, between you and the other player, on your own judgement. We cannot tell whether someone will honour their side of it, and we cannot reverse a trade that goes badly.

4. Trade at your own risk

Epic does not support trading. Trades are at your own risk — Epic will not restore lost sprites.

Trading sprites is not an official or supported feature of the game. It is something players do between themselves, and SpriteGrove is an unofficial fan project with no affiliation to Epic Games. Epic offers no recourse for a trade that goes wrong: there is no appeal, no rollback, and no support ticket that will bring a sprite back.

Nobody can undo a gift, a duplicate spent, or a sprite handed to someone who then walks away. Never share your account credentials, never “lend” your account, and never let anyone talk you into going first on the strength of a screenshot.

By proposing, accepting, or completing a trade through SpriteGrove you accept this risk yourself. If you are not willing to lose what you put up, do not put it up.

5. Behaviour and moderation

Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other players. Do not impersonate anyone. Do not post personal information — yours or anyone else’s. Do not scam, and do not try to route people off the site to get around the rules above.

We may remove listings, hide profiles, and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, at our discretion and without notice. We may also remove content that we think puts a younger player at risk, even when no rule has clearly been broken.

6. Supporter purchases

The tracker is free and stays free. Supporter is an optional one-time purchase of $4.99 — not a subscription, and it never renews. It unlocks cosmetic and convenience extras only; it does not buy sprites, priority in trades, or any in-game item.

Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle’s terms apply to the transaction itself. If you change your mind, email us at support@spritegrove.app within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. Ask a parent before buying if you are under 18.

7. No warranty

SpriteGrove is provided as-is. Catalog data and dust estimates are community best guesses and can be wrong or out of date. We may change or shut down any part of the site at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost sprites, lost trades, or lost time.
