Frequently asked questions

What are sprites in Fortnite?
Sprites are collectible companions introduced in Fortnite's sprite seasons. Each sprite exists in several finishes, and collectors work through the season's catalog trying to find them all before the season ends.
What are finishes?
A finish is a visual variant of a sprite — Normal, Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, Holofoil and more. Each finish is collected separately, and some are only obtainable during limited windows or events.
What is Sprite Dust?
Sprite Dust is the in-game resource spent to summon sprites. SpriteGrove estimates the dust behind each finish so you can see what completing your collection is likely to cost and plan your hunt order.
Can you trade sprites?
Yes — players can exchange sprites in game. SpriteGrove runs a barter-only matching queue: equal dust value on both sides, templated offers, and no money anywhere. How trading works is covered in the Terms.
Is SpriteGrove free?
The tracker is free forever, with no account required. A one-time supporter unlock adds cosmetic perks like themes and share-card styles — never a trading advantage.
Is SpriteGrove official?
No. SpriteGrove is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Epic Games. Epic-announced catalog entries cite an Epic source; community-reported ones are marked unconfirmed.
